Hiroaki Ijitsu

Hiroaki Ijitsu is a Japanese show designer and live show director recognized for orchestrating arena-scale concerts and theatrical productions.

He began his career as a lighting operator more than 20 years ago, developing a reputation for inventive storytelling through light and motion. By 2014, he had already earned industry recognition, receiving the Newcomer Award from the Japan Association of Lighting Engineers & Designers for his work on arena productions.

Over the past two decades, Ijitsu has become one of Japan's leading show designers, directing national arena tours and dome productions, as well as Asia tours for some of the region's most prominent artists. His career has expanded from lighting into comprehensive show production, where he now directs the full creative vision: stage design, lighting, multimedia, and special effects for concerts, musicals, and live events.

In recent years, he has extended his focus beyond Japan, moving to Singapore to further his international career and broaden the reach of his work. His portfolio now spans collaborations with top-tier artists and large-scale productions that fuse artistry with advanced stage technologies, establishing him as one of the defining voices in contemporary live entertainment design.
