Built around the theme “finding one’s true color within a monitored society,” The Colors presented a visually striking and conceptually layered production that attracted a total audience of 290,000 people across Japan.
The main stage was lined with hundreds of television monitors, forming a wall of shifting images that surrounded both performers and spectators, evoking the tension of living under constant observation. Hanging above it all was a massive chandelier, casting fractured reflections throughout the arena like scattered fragments of identity.
At the center stood a cage-like structure enclosed by four-sided LED screens, trapping the band within a confined, pulsating frame that symbolized both visibility and restriction. Through this immersive design, the show examined how individuals strive to discover their own color and authenticity in a world shaped by surveillance, conformity, and self-exposure.
